      Problems using the service
      ---------------------------

    • Upload stopped - Progress bar reading 0Kbps.

Most of the time it is not but the progress bar stops responding even though the upload is going on. This is a common issue with some internet providers with slow or unreliable connections such as wireless services.
Just wait the amount of time you see in the estimated time and you'll see that everything is working properly. To double check, look at the status message usually at the bottom bar of your browser. It should read something like - Loading "http://camelshare.com', completed 7 out of 9 the numbers can be any other numbers.

    Advantage of file hosting

Internet access: The most important advantage of file hosting is the ability to access your files using the internet. This practically means your files will follow you where ever you go without worrying about carrying CD's, portable hard disks, or even a flash memory unit. In some cases it is the only solution you have. How about storing copies of your legal documents such as passport, ID and birth certificate or those of your kids?. Why go home, scan and print when it can be available to you anywhere, any time?

Security: Having a copy of your important files securely stored on an external server far better than carrying around with you on your laptop or flash media. A laptop can be stolen and a flash media could go missing for any reason. So storing a copy of your files on an external server is the best security measure if you can't afford to store your information in one of the secure banks vaults.
As an added security all files are encrypted and given a random serial number that won't open unless the user knows the exact link generated during upload and if you created a password then the link won't download without the right password.

Time saving: Have you ever been in a situation where you wanted to send one file to many users or co-workers? then you'll know how time consuming to send a large file to a list of let's say 20 people. A 10MB file sent to 20 people means 20 times the upload time, file size, and bandwidth. In this case a 10MB will become 200MB worth of upload file size. Compare this to one upload of 10MB and then sending a quick message to your list telling them where to download the file.
